When it comes to finding the perfect vacation rental, some folks rely on local agencies, while most have become accustomed to the convenience of booking online or through apps. While a number of notable vacation rental apps exist, Vrbo is among the most popular, with over two million properties listed in over 190 countries worldwide. With so many listings, though, it can be difficult for the site’s 48 million users to narrow it down to the very best properties—even with the app’s various filters, price points, and guides. Thankfully, Vrbo has released its 2023 Vacation Homes of the Year report which showcases the top 10 best U.S. rental properties.
“These stunning, private vacation homes all boast stellar star ratings, rave guest reviews, are owned or managed by a Premier Host, and feature some of the most standout spaces and amenities for going on vacation together with family and friends,” the report reads.
While you might think that the best vacation homes would line the coasts, the top 10 Vrbo Vacation Homes of 2023 are nestled all over the country, with rentals in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, and Texas, with a bonus property in Mexico. Suffice to say, no matter your dream vacation—whether it’s a beachside retreat, desert dwelling, urban utopia, or nature-adjacent ranch—there’s a Vrbo property to help you make it a reality. Keep reading to learn more about Vrbo’s 2023 Vacation Homes of the Year.
